Damage nerves has a good chance of becoming infected. As a abscess sets in it can become very painful. This is when a root canal in needed. Through an opening in the tooth, the inside of the root is cleaned and the damage nerve or pulp is removed. The tooth is then filled with a natural substance and seal back up.
